Dr. Martin Picherer

Martin Picherer advises on corporate law, transactions, and corporate and family governance. He was a member of the management board of Leica Camera AG and has worked for family offices since 2011, including as managing director and co-investor.

Martin Picherer advises companies, shareholders, management and supervisory boards on corporate law, transactions and shareholder disputes. His further areas of focus are corporate and family governance, business succession and real estate transactions.

After working at Haarmann Hemmelrath, he moved in 2006 to the family office of an Austrian entrepreneurial family. As a member of the management board of Leica Camera AG, he was responsible for the company's restructuring, a squeeze-out and the sale of a minority interest to Blackstone.

Since 2011 he has worked for family offices in southern Germany, including as managing director and co-investor. He also serves on supervisory boards and advisory boards. In 2024 he founded the partnership Picherer Bohnet Lohner with Uwe Bohnet and Andreas Lohner.
